Nine Liars by Maureen Johnsen

The character development was okay. Steve Bell and her character traits were amusing and frustrating at the same time. Side characters and their friendship, understandings, encouragement are fascinating. New characters brought a bit of new development. The writing style was descriptive. There were unnecessary details like what dress all the nine people were wearing. And the writer includes repetitive storytelling; she portrays both the story in the past 19s and back to the present through Stevie, which was okay because you'll get to know more of the story but sometimes it feels so frustrating when it's repeated again and again from so many people. Also, the police record of interviewing the Nine was included, and it was very unnecessary; the questions were very clipped and unrealistic.
